SAMPLE PARENT REQUEST LETTER IN ENGLISH

Dear Parents,

Your child is participating in an Adopt-A-Beach Clean-Up. The students are recycling cans to help pay for bus transportation to ______________ Beach. The trip will take place on ____________________. If your child is off track, please have them go to school at the normal time. Please make sure they are on time, or they will miss the bus to the beach.

Because this is an organized school trip, teachers will supervise the children during the day. You are welcome to attend the trip. Please contact your child's school if you are interested.

Please help prepare them for the trip. Here is a checklist:

• Dress your child in long pants and a long sleeve shirt. If it is a warm day, have your child bring a pair of shorts with them.
• Closed toe shoes (i.e. tennis shoes) should be worn.
• Provide a jacket or sweat shirt.
• Sunscreen.
• Sunglasses.
• Hat.
• Pack a lunch (Put childs name on it ).
• Waterbottle.

Please sign the Adopt-A-Beach liability waiver form so that your childcan go on the trip. Thank you very much for your help. If you have any questions please contact your school.

* Lifeguards will be on duty.

Su nino va a participar en un programa, el "Adopta-Una-Playa." Todos los ninos van a ir en un viaje el ____________________________.

Ese dia los estudiantes iran a la playa para limpiarla. Es muy importante que su nino llegue a tiempo a la escuela ese dia por el autobus. Si usted esta interesado en ayudar, avise al maestro de su nino/nina.

Por favor prepare a su nino/nina ese dia con lo siguiente:

• Pantalones y camiseta comodo.
• Tenis.
• Un sueter o una sudadera.
• Bronceador.
• Gafas de sol.
• Sombrero.
• Una bolsa con el nombre del nino/nina conteniendo un bocado.
• Bottes de aqua.

Por favor, firme todas las formas y regreselas a la escuela. Gracias por ayudar. Si tienen algunas preguntas, llamen a la escuela.
